About Karen Daley

Karen M. Daley, Ph.D., RN is Dean of the  Dr. Susan L. Davis, R.N., & Richard J. Henley College of Nursing at Sacred Heart University and Interim Dean for the College of Health Professions. Daley brings years experience in higher education as well as nurse, editor and project director. Prior to SHU, Daley was dean of the College of Health Professions at Davenport University and director of the university’s BSN program for veterans. As a nurse educator, she also served as the master's degree coordinator of nursing at Western Connecticut State University. Daley is also co-editor of the book, Simulation Scenarios for Nursing Educators: Making it Real and several peer-reviewed articles on simulation scenarios and simulation focused pedagogy.
