About Jörg Vianden

Jörg Vianden is associate professor of Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. His research centers on student persistence as well as college men and masculinities. Dr. Vianden is currently engaged in a multi-campus qualitative grant-funded study on developing positive social justice behaviors in heterosexual White college men. Before joining the faculty at UW-La Crosse, Vianden spent more than 10 years as a student affairs professional in housing and residence life functions at four different large public research universities. His doctorate is in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University.
