About Justin Zhang

Justin Zhang is an Associate Professor of Management Information Systems in the Department of Management, International Business, and Information Systems at School of Business and Economics. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration with the concentration on Management Science and Information Systems from Penn State University.
His research interests include economics of information systems, knowledge management, electronic business, business process management, and workflow systems. In particular, he has been interested in the management of knowledge assets in the context of e-commerce organizations. Viewing knowledge management (KM) as a series of processes, he has analytically modeled and studied the key components of KM and the ways to effectively manage knowledge assets within organizations. His research has investigated the following factors and aspects of KM: incentives, IT support, knowledge market, organization culture, social media, personal KM, and customer KM.
