About Justin Christensen

I am a Masters student at Utah State University. I work in the Materials Physics Group with Dr. JR Dennison as my mentor. I study topics related to spacecraft charging. These include electrical charging of insulators, electron yield, and cathodoluminescence. I have experience working with ultra-high vacuum chambers, electron guns, electronics, and instrumentation design. I have also done a lot of programming in C++, Fortran, and I have had some exposure to Labview, Matlab, and Java. My interests of study are in data analysis, metrology, and material characterization.

Outside of school I like hiking, camping, snowboarding, and sight seeing. I love learning about new things and in my spare time I can often be found looking up how to make new physics toys, or woodworking projects.
