About Jun Ji

Jun Ji was born in Qingdao, Shandong province, P. R. China, in June 1982. He received B.Eng.degree in Computer Science & Process Equipment and Control from Qingdao University of Science & Technology and M.Sc. in Computer Science from Qingdao University. Now he is a Ph.D candidate of Zhejiang University and joint training Ph.D student of Stanford University.
His research interest mainly focused on machine learning, data mining, bioinformatic, social network, and advanced control. He is good at both algorithms design and their applications in these domains.
Has interned in IBM China Research Laboratory, Research Laboratory of MESNAC Co., Ltd. and Netease.com Inc. Research Institute, he has a strong engineering back ground with experience in the design and implementation of lots of software applications by using the technical skills such as C/C++/Objective C/PHP/Perl/Python/Java/.net/Matlab/R language and corresponding frameworks.
He is also interested in software development in mobile applications and social network, electrical business, and it really does that he want to integrate his research works into the applications to make the innovations feasible and useful.
