About Julio Cesar Ortiz

Julio C. Ortiz is a board-certified Podiatric Foot and Ankle surgeon specializing in diabetic limb salvage, trauma, and complex lower extremity deformity correction. He earned his podiatric medical degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Ortiz completed his post-graduate surgical residency training at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida.
Dr. Ortiz also has specialty training in Reconstructive Adult and Pediatric Flatfoot Deformity Correction, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Ankle Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine, and Total Ankle Joint Replacement.
Dr. Ortiz is amongst a handful of Podiatric Surgeons in South Florida trained in Total Ankle Joint Replacement and has extensive experience addressing arthritic conditions of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Ortiz is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery.
