About Julián López-Murcia

I was born in Bogota, Colombia in 1982. I trained in law at the Javeriana University in Bogota, and obtained an MSc in Regulation from the London School of Economics and then a PhD in Politics from the University of Oxford.

For over a decade, I have been leading a number of public and academic debates in my country on both water security and circular economy issues. And I have taught courses in similar subjects in three different countries (United Kingdom, Colombia and El Salvador), including the innovative Centre for Transnational Legal Studies in London (founded and led by Georgetown University).
