Juan Cordoba earned an M.A. from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 1995. He earned an M.A. from the University of Rochester in 2000, and he earned a Ph.D. from University of Rochester in 2001. Cordoba's research interests include macroeconomics, economic growth and development, urban economics, market frictions, inequality, fertility, and equality.
