Ensayos filosóficos, jurídicos y psicológicos
  • Juan Javier del Granado
Conceived in the style of Menippean satire, this text is written in a mixture of prose and verse. The Menippean satire, or Anatomy (as in Robert Burton's "Anatomy of Melancholy"), is named after a Greek cynic of antiquity whose work has been lost but whose attitude fortunately has not, having persisted through the anarchic fooleries of Petronius and Apuleius to Rabelais, Voltaire and Swift.
