About jean-paul ouedraogo

Jean-Paul Ouedraogo studied biochemistry and microbiology at the University of Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) where he obtained his DEA (Master)in microbial and cellular biotechnology with a topic focuses on the chimioresistance of plasmodium falciparum (2006). In 2007 he has been certified in public health and international perpectives at Radboud University Niymegen(Netherlands). He obtained is PhD in Biotechnology(Summa cum laude) in 2011 at Berlin University of Technology (Germany). He speaks fluently french, english, german, spanish and mooré. Currently he is working as researcher at the Center for Structural and Functional Genomics (CSFG, Concordia University in Canada) after a great 2.5 years Postdoc at Leiden University (Netherlands). The research interests of Dr Ouedraogo mainly focuses on genetic engineering of industrial strains, antimicrobial discovery, molecular mechanism governing microbial resistance, neglected diseases and other areas of biology
