Abstract
Unitary Human Caring Science emerged from a confluence of nursing theorists, most notably Rogers, Newman, Smith, Watson and others. UHCS illuminates the next iteration of Unitary Caring Science by emphasizing the lived experience and quantum nature of pandimensional human beings. This presentation articulates the unitary patterns that emerge in the lived experience and praxis of nurses as they dwell in the expanded realms and potentials of the quantum field of a unitary consciousness. What unfolds articulates the unitary pattern processes that emerge in the lived experience and praxis of nurses as they dwell in the expanded realms and potentials of the quantum field of a unitary consciousness. In 2008, Newman, et al., spoke of seven concepts alluding to unitary pattern held within the conceptual framework of three major paradigms or worldviews, each embedded within the other under the broad horizon of human awareness within a unitary whole. These concepts revealed pandimensional relationships within human-universe potentials: i.e. health, caring, meaning, presence, mutual process, patterning and consciousness. Smith’s work on the nature of caring introduced the complex dynamic nature of pandimensional patterns as seen in manifesting intentions, appreciating pattern, attuning to dynamic flow, experiencing the infinite, and inviting creative emergence. UHCS continues the dialogue, unfolding an authentic transformational shift in language, process and lived experience of nurses as they become virtuosos or masters of nursing praxis. Implications for educators that brings forth this lived experience of master practitioners, or virtuosos of love, compassion and healing in a complex world are offered.
