Abstract
The direct experience of many ways of knowing embraced by indigenous and traditional cultures unveil our common humanity with new understanding and healing approaches. The expanding consciousness (heart/mind/soul) of humanity, articulated in Unitary Human Caring Science is a foundational framework for articulating how western science and healing traditions of ancient cultures build harmonic coherence and decrease discordant pathways.
This presentation focuses on an educational program for nursing students that develops caring, compassionate processes, the direct experience of expanding consciousness via many ways of knowing, and integrates three major streams of consciousness/paradigms that have separated science and art, body and soul for eons. We share educational tools, skills of inner technology, along with a direct experience for participants of embodied soul/sacred space that facilitates healing, inner peace, and resilience in the personal self, as well as in the human-environmental field of the cosmos.
UHCS is a values based cosmology of compassion that supports humanities next steps for building a peaceful global community, and enlivening vital energy that nourishes and allows all life and ecosystems to thrive. Love creatively emerges as the "EVOL"-u-tion of Self/Soul mirrored in the lived experience of each and every one of us.
