My practice and academic interests lie primarily in due process and commerce clause constitutional limits on state taxation of interstate persons, including trustees' and executors' administration of trusts and estates, and use of asset protection trusts, both foreign and domestic.
I retired as Palmer Professor of Law, Samford University's Cumberland Law School in June, 2013.
