Abstract

The article focuses on human resource management (HRM) within an organization. This department came into limelight during the recession of 2009 when corrupt practices of Chief Executive Officers (CEO) and Financial Risk Managers came into focus which had impacted the economic growth of the organization. This led to questions being asked about the role of Human Resource (HR) departments in recruitment of these individuals. The author explores the study and practices of HRM in different organizations and discusses ways to improve work environment, remove employment discrimination and regain integrity for the HRM profile among employees.
