A topical outline and summary of the letters sent to the Congregation of the Mission in general or to individual provinces or groups of members during the period of the French Revolution. No elections for a superior general were possible, so the pope appointed both French and Italian vicars general, governing the Congregation of the Mission one for France and the other for the rest of the Vincentians, 1800-1827. The purpose is to provide data for researchers in this period.
