The English translation of a fund-raising pamphlet by Casimir Vic, C.M., (1852-1912), apostolic vicar of Eastern Jiangxi, China. In it, the bishop explains the charitable activities and the needs of the mission. The needs of his vicariate included a dispensary, a hospital, a school and workshop for Christian girls, a catechumenate program to train women, a service for abandoned women, and the Holy Childhood program for abandoned children.
