Abstract
An English translation of letters from Mongolia, Tibet, and China, by a Vincentian missionary, Joseph Gabet, written 1845-1849. These are eye-witness accounts of his travels. Accompanying him was Evariste Huc, whose lengthy accounts of the same travels captivated readers interested in the exotic lands.
