Abstract
The author, a member of the Congregation of the Mission, the Vincentians, served in the Vincentian missions in China. He presents detailed notes on the vicariate of Tcheng-ting-fou (Zhengding), with names of the clergy and those of the Christian communities in the vicariate. It concludes with a listing of charitable activities carried on by the Church, and the religious communities that worked there: Daughters of Charity, Josephine Sisters, Brothers of Saint Paul, Trappists. The work was translated from French by Henk de Cuijper, C.M., and edited by John E. Rybolt, C.M.
