Abstract

This survey of farms in 3 counties (Skagit, Snohomish and King) in north western Washington showed that evacuation destination sites for livestock were not planned. It was concluded that in determining these sites, adequate feed and water, shelter, medicinal agents and other husbandry equipment and facilities need to be considered to reduce losses.
