Abstract

The Wildcat Creek catchment, in the upper Piedmont region of South Carolina, is being considered for special protection to preserve its biological diversity. To help assess thi diversity, specimens of mayfly(Ephemeroptera) and stonefly (Plecoptera) nymphs were collected and identified to the lowest taxonomic level possible with currently published information.
