About John Brigham

John Brigham's work has been on epistemologies and law. He argues that we should look at law as a language, the Supreme Court as an institution and social movements in terms of the laws that constitute them.
He has written on what it means to see law and teaches about the ethnographic dimensions of local politics. His course, Ethnography and Policy, focuses on representation with attention to maps, places and politicians.
