About John Lewis

John E. Lewis, Ph.D., is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Clinical and School Psychology at Nova Southeastern University's College of Psychology. Dr. Lewis earned a Bachelor's degree in psychology, and Bachelor's degree and Master's degrees in education at Queen's University, Canada. He earned his Doctoral degree at Syracuse University. His research interests include cross cultural assessment and psychotherapy, and international perspectives. He is a member of American Psychological Association (APA) divisions 17, 45, and 52. Dr. Lewis has presented at numerous national and international conferences and is the author or co-author of books, and articles focused on cross-cultural issues.
