About John Hermann

For twenty-five years, Dr. John R. Hermann has been fascinated by issues regarding how to protect vulnerable and marginalized groups in our constitutional republic. His research explores whether the Supreme Court can protect -- and under what circumstances -- those who lack access to and clout in the electoral process. More recently, Dr. Hermann has become interested in higher education pedagogy -- with a focus on the changing demographics in the United States.
