At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

• Consider the role that culture and language have on families’ perspectives of development.
• Identify culturally sensitive strategies to support families who do not seek treatment in a timely fashion.
• Devise solutions to help families navigate the process from the pediatrician’s office to community agencies.
