Laos Future Prospects and Their Limitations

Abstract
This article attempts to outline briefly some of the most critical factors which will play an important role in shaping the countries future. Laos is a small landlocked country between three large state; Vietnam, China and Thailand. These countries contain large amount of people ethnically similar to Laos. They are both very similar in language and culture and boundaries are essentially political and in no sense do they constitute ethnic or cultural frontiers.
