About Joel Rudin

My current research has two streams. One stream investigates transphobia in the workplace, focusing on whether and why trans women experience more workplace discrimination than trans men. The other stream analyzes the demographics of an emerging profession, financial wellness coaching, in comparison to the similar and well-established profession of financial planning. The focus is on whether and why African-American women experience more workplace discrimination than non-African-American males.
