Abstract
The integration of occupational therapists with the emergence of full inclusion of children with disabilities in schools, worldwide.
In her talk, she advocated for occupational therapists to become engaged in regional
departments/ministries of edcuation to ensure parity in work conditions, pay, job security, credentialing
options to maximize occupational therapy’s impact on school children. The talk was in the Leadership,
Advocacy and Agents of Change track and yielded a lively discussion with many participants.
