About Jim Stockton

Jim Stockton is a Lecturer of Philosophy at Boise State University, in Boise, Idaho. He received his MA in English from Boise State University in 1992, and his MA in Philosophy from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1998. He joined the faculty of the Department of Philosophy at Boise State University in 1998, and also teaches literature and humanities for the Department of English.
Jim's primary interests are the history of philosophy, aesthetics, philosophy and film, and the Inklings, an informal literary discussion group associated with the University of Oxford. He is currently working on a book length history of the Oxford Socratic Club with the working title: "C. S. Lewis and the Oxford Philosophers."
