About Jihui Qin

Dr. Jihui Qin is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T). Before joining Missouri S&T, he was a Research Assistant at Chongqing University, China. He obtained his Ph.D. and B.Eng. in Materials Science and Engineering from Chongqing University in 2019 and 2012, respectively. His current interests involve studying future cement, alternative binder, solid waste utilization, carbon mineralization, ultra-high-performance concrete, and concrete repair and rehabilitation. He is a member of the Chinese Ceramic Society (CCS) and American Ceramic Society. He has published more than 25 journal articles, with over 500 citations. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for more than 10 reputable journals such as Cement and Concrete Composites, Construction and Building Materials, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, and Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering.
