Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science

Dr. Jidong Xiao joined the Computer Science Department at Boise State University as an Assistant Professor in 2016. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from College of William and Mary, where he was advised by Dr. Haining Wang. His research interests are mainly in cyber security, with a particular emphasis on operating system security and virtualization/cloud security. Dr. Xiao also has approximately 6 years of professional industry experience, including various roles at Intel, Symantec, Nokia, and Juniper Networks. In 2014 he was an external reviewer of DSN, and more recently in 2016 he was a Shadow PC Member of EuroSys.

About Jidong Xiao
