About Jeunghoon Lee

Dr. Jeunghoon Lee joined Boise State University as Assistant Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry in 2008. He was promoted to Associate Professor and has been holding a joint appointment with the Micron School or Materials Science & Engineering since 2014. He earned his Ph.D. in polymer science from the University of Connecticut, and his M.S. and B.S. in chemical technology from Seoul National University. Dr. Lee additionally completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University. Since his arrival at Boise State, Dr. Lee has been a member of NanoMaterials and Devices Group (NMDG). His research interests and expertise include functional nanomaterials via DNA nanotechnology, biosensing using dynamic DNA networks, and DNA-assisted assembly of quantum coherent dye systems.
