Jessica Swanner is a postdoctoral scholar at Iowa State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Arkansas (2010). She conducts empirical studies on social and cognitive processes that impact the elicitation and evaluation of secondhand information; areas of application include snitching, interrogations, alibis, gossip, rumor, and secrets. She has published peer-reviewed journal articles in Law and Human Behavior.
