About Jessica Daly

I earned both my undergraduate BS degree in Elementary Education as well as my Master's in Library Science from East Carolina University. I was a classroom teacher, advancement coordinator (public relations), and school librarian for over 18 years in public and Christian schools working with students from Kindergarten to 12th grade. Teaching is my passion and gift. I presently serve Liberty University as the Coordinator of Undergraduate & Online Research Assistance as well as an associate professor.

In January of 2011, I began a ministry dedicated to the spiritual encouragement of caregivers called "My Daly Outreach Ministries." What began as a local support system has now led to a group of over 45,000 caregivers from all over the world. I wrote and published my first book in 2011 and since that time became a columnist for local, national, and international publications. I am an inspirational speaker in churches, civic groups, and conferences. MDO Ministries has been spotlighted in both "IPHC Experience Magazine" as well as "Charisma" as being a unique and needed ministry. My ultimate goal is to continue writing books and articles which inspire caregivers in their Christian walk. I write what is given to me by the Lord and pray it will actually lead others closer to Christ. MDO Ministries has a website, www.mydalyoutreach.com, a blog, www.mydalyoutreach.blogspot.com, weekly email devotionals, as well as a Facebook page. It can also be followed on Twitter and Instagram.

I am a native of Goldsboro, North Carolina but enjoy living in Lynchburg, Virginia. I have been married to my best friend, Brian Daly, for 15+ years and we have a beautiful daughter, Taylor, who is ten and attends Liberty Christian Online Academy.
