Abstract

Jeremy Spoon explains the Emergency Management and Community Resilience degree program, its curriculum, benefits, and how to apply. Brianne Suldovsky, Assistant Professor of Communication, presents, "Communicating Science and Risk," discussing the basics of risk communication, including how publics perceive risks and best practices in risk communication. Lauren Frank, Associate Professor of Communication, presents, "Communicating Health and Risk," highlighting risk communication during COVID-19.
