About Jeremy Riousset

I am a planetary scientist, currently working on atmospheric electricity throughout the Solar system. I previously developed the Multifluid Magnetohydrodynamic Model for Mars (M4) to investigate Mars’ ionosphere in the dynamo region (between 100−400 km) and used A.I.K.E.F. hybrid code to study exoplanet-induced stellar activity. My overall research interests are focused on plasma discharges, atmospheric currents, and interactions between charged particles and magnetic fields. I developed several models to study lightning and electrical breakdown, using high-performance computing libraries (MPI, PETSc).
