Jenny joins the entrepreneurship and economics faculty with a PhD from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. She is currently studying the commercialization of publicly funded R&D and the history of venture capital. Prior to CSUMB, Jenny was a researcher at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research for over a decade. She is also currently a Research Affiliate at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Media and Journalism.
Jenny has a background in technology, with a decade of experience as an engineer in manufacturing at such Silicon Valley companies as Apple and Solectron, and as a software developer in Germany. In addition to her PhD from Berkeley, Jenny holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
