About Jennifer Renée Kilpatrick

Dr. Kilpatrick's overarching research interests are professional development of teachers of the deaf and deaf education teacher preparation.  She has published and presented research on the a variety of topics within these two areas, including outcomes of Strategic and Interactive Writing Instruction (SIWI), written language assessment and instruction, the use of digital tools in writing instruction, the roles and responsibilities of teachers of the deaf, Community Based Transformational Learning (CBTL), and Universal Design for Learning.
