Abstract
It can be challenging to translate college learning to pursuits after graduation. In this experimental study participants
considered learning framed within learning goal OR as a list of courses. Results revealed that course work framed within learning outcomes was perceived as better preparing students for post-BA plans. These results have implications for how faculty and advisors communicate the major to students.
