Proposal for Presentation

Health care professional programs are beginning to seek ways to increase their knowledge and implementation of trauma-informed higher education practices to support both students and patients. Within the last few years, health care professionals have increased research related to trauma-informed practices primarily in primary and secondary educational settings and healthcare settings. Further research is needed in relation to incorporation of trauma-informed practice at the undergraduate and graduate level. This presentation will look at the current literature that exists and propose some suggestions for future research.
