About Jenelle Robinson

Jenelle N. Robinson has over 20 years of work experience in nutrition and health sciences as well as a robust educational background. With a focus on cultural relevancy and performing-arts pedagogy within nutritional sciences, her research further extends to examining body image and weight realities among African American women; and using qualitative methods to explore the diverse food and nutrition narratives within the African Diaspora. Dr. Robinson earned her Ph.D. in Nutrition from Mississippi State University, a Master's degree in Dietetics from the University of Oklahoma, and a B.S. in Health Education from the University of Central Arkansas.
