Jayavignesh (Jay) Ganesan is a Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) facilitator at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy. His interest in leadership started when Jay himself was a student in the LEAD program. His project for the Student Leadership Exchange (SLX) involved the analysis of the Teen Vaping Crisis. His policy proposal has been downloaded and viewed across 30 nations. As a facilitator, Jay works to inspire his students to achieve the same personal growth that he did as a student. Jay is a part of the Enabling Activism (EnACT) elective, where he introduces concepts related to policy and activism.
