About Jay Newell

Research interests center on the effects of emerging media on traditional media, including changes in attention to traditional media, the development of new media use habits, the response of advertisers to the new media climate, and the marketing of media to individuals. Teaching assignments include advertising principles, computational advertising and media planning.
