Jason Morris wrote, produced and directed the film. “Teague: Design and Beauty” focuses on the life of Walter Dorwin Teague, one of the greatest American designers of the machine age. Teague is known for the Kodak Brownie cameras, Texaco’s art deco gas stations, the Polaroid desk lamp and hundreds of other designs.

The documentary uncovers the mysteries of Teague’s life through hand-drawn illustrations, photographs, product designs, interviews, animation and film. The film was premiered in Austin, Texas at the Industrial Designers Society of America International Conference, and is now being exhibited at film festivals, museums and universities around the country.

Some of the interviews include Bill Moggridge, director of the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum; Harry Teague, architect and grandson of Walter D. Teague; Craig Vogel, professor at University of Cincinnati, and others.
