About Jannis Moody

Dr. Moody is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Professor of Psychology. She
obtained her M.A and Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on
Multicultural Community Clinical Psychology. Her work focuses on increasing access
to culturally responsive mental health services and education for underserved
populations, and addressing factors impacting the emotional and psychological
wellness of African American communities. Dr. Moody currently serves as an
Assistant Professor at Texas Southern University.
