Proposal for Presentation

Research shows that teaching presence in online courses is a major determinant of student satisfaction and student success. We know instinctively that it’s important, because as teachers we too can feel disconnected from our students. Come learn ten specific strategies for establishing your “presence” in your remote and online courses, so you and your students feel connected to one another. These strategies can be used in multiple delivery modalities, including synchronous, asynchronous, dual synchronous, blended, hybrid, remote, and digital learning.
