AbstractThis chapter overviews current practice in Equal Employment Opportunities and Managing Diversity (EEO/MD), with a particular emphasis on the NZ context as an exemplar, and discusses EEO/MD in the Asia-Pacific region. EEO and MD have emerged from different ideological contexts, but in practice, in terms of the ways that managers tend to enact EEO and MD, they overlap.
