Abstract
In an effort to secure alternate clinical experiences, decrease stigma and encourage interest in the field of mental health nursing, an academic service-learning project was launched. This endeavor consisted of an alliance between an associate degree nursing program and a community clubhouse. This affiliation evolved into a growing partnership yielding multiple benefits for both nursing students and the community partner.
