About Janet Amann, PhD

Janet Amann has over 30 years of experience as a school librarian and classroom teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Janet has a MA in Elementary Education and earned her Doctorate at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in Urban Education and Educational Media Technology. She holds Wisconsin teaching licenses in school library media and art education. She taught for several Universities in Wisconsin and Mansfield University in Pennsylvania. Her research interests focused on perceptions of professional library association membership. Janet is the program coordinator for the school library media specialist portion of the MLIS program.
