About Jan Gilbert

Gilbert teaches music theory and composition. She has directed an interdisciplinary experimental music ensemble which specialized in "speech music" and multimedia compositions.
Her interests include interarts composition and South Indian music.
Her compositions have been performed by the Dale Warland Singers and Chanticleer. She has been commissioned by the Arts Nova Singers and the American Guild of Organists.
