This is the academic paper site for James Forest, Ph.D. (University of Massachusetts - Amherst). I am currently Assistant Professor of Finance at SUNY New Paltz. Prior to doctoral studies at UMass, I earned a Master of Science in Finance at Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Framingham State University. I have also worked at Standard & Poor's as Economics Editor and at IBC Financial Data (now an Informa company) as Statistical Analyst and Associate Editor.
